2008
Welcome To Oakwood Club's Public Website!General Manager: Christine M. MancusoThe Oakwood Club was established in 1905 by a small group of Cleveland’s successful merchants and professionals. A total of 70 families purchased bonds to build an original nine-hole golf course and Clubhouse.
By 1920 the Club had over 500 members. Its golf course was expanded to 18-holes, and a large-scale renovation of the Clubhouse was undertaken.
Over the years numerous upgrades to the grounds and facilities have followed. Today the Club has outdoor clay tennis courts and a large indoor tennis facility; exercise facilities; an 18-hole golf course and outdoor and indoor driving ranges; an outdoor pool; summer camp program; numerous social events throughout the year; and first-class dining, party and meeting facilities. This Public site is a source of information about our Club. Feel free to browse information on our Tennis, Golf and Fitness programs as well as our Dining Facilities and events. MEMBERS may access the "Members Only" section through this section of the website, as well.
